South of the Border for May

Our global journey takes us closer to home, but still far enough for many Stinkers to have never experienced food & wine from South America. Admittedly, I have not ventured south of Cancun, but Spanish-inspired dishes really helped me figure out which direction to take with the menu this month. The abundance of Latin ingredients were readily available - plantains, rocoto pepper sauce, aji amarillo paste. A Brazilian favorite, Feijoada, served with pao de queijo has already scored with our secret tasters. The empanadas from our pre-Covid Tapas menu are making a comeback, with more cheese! This menu is available after 4pm only for the month of May - you will not be disappointed to try it.

The wines were a no-brainer as we have countless favorites from Uruguay, Chile, and Argentina to share. Katy from RNDC will be hosting the next tasting on Wednesday May 25th 5-8pm. Please reserve a table as it does fill up quickly. Looking forward to serving you soon - Saude!
